Tita Logistics is a ZIMRA-licensed customs clearing agent operating in Zimbabwe. We provide customs clearance, border rescue, and freight management services across all major Zimbabwe border posts.

2. What Data We Collect

Information you give us

When you submit a quote request, border rescue request, or contact form, we collect:

• Name and company name
• Email address and phone number
• Shipment details (border post, cargo type, urgency)
• Documents you upload (commercial invoices, packing lists, permits)
• Any message or notes you include

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on the site
• Referring website or search term
• Browser type and device type (no fingerprinting)
• Country / approximate region (not precise location)

This data is collected via Google Analytics 4 only if you accept analytics cookies. IP addresses are anonymised before processing. We do not collect precise location data.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to your quote or clearance request
• To process and manage your customs clearance
• To contact you about your shipment status
• To improve our website and understand how clients find us (analytics only)
• To comply with ZIMRA regulatory requirements and customs law

We do not use your data for advertising, remarketing, or selling to third parties.

Google Analytics 4 (ID: G-GND6BD38HB) helps us understand which pages and search terms bring clients to us. IP addresses are anonymised. No personal data is stored. 6. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your data. We share data only where necessary:

• ZIMRA (Zimbabwe Revenue Authority): As required for customs declarations and clearance
• Google Analytics: Anonymised, aggregated traffic data only (if analytics cookies accepted)
• Our email / hosting provider: To deliver and store your enquiry securely
• Professional advisors: Lawyers or accountants, under confidentiality obligations, where required

All data processors we use are bound by data processing agreements. We do not transfer your personal data outside of Zimbabwe or the EEA without appropriate safeguards.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Enquiries / quotes: 12 months from date of enquiry, unless we proceed to an engagement
• Client clearance records: 7 years, as required by ZIMRA and Zimbabwe tax law
• Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default retention), then automatically deleted
• Cookie preferences: 365 days (stored in your browser)

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Withdraw consent for analytics at any time via Cookie Settings
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. ZIMRA, SFAAZ). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies independently.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and professional importers/exporters. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
